Miss Sophia returned from her cruise raring to go and the first thing she did (redid!) was the entry. Not scary but has definite fall vibes and I adore the cotton ball stems!
Happy Fall, ya’ll!
I was born in KY – don’t have an accent – but I can hear it at times just like I did here writing the above!

At least we can detect a change in the air around here so that means Fall is on its way!
Our little entry way reflects the change of seasons.

Must have taken a mini vacation last week although I didn’t go anywhere. Either that or I had nothing to tell you about which doesn’t seem likely either. End of the summer doldrums? Perhaps….I am looking forward to fall! We seem to have a similar idea in the shop-check this out –

Yep, Annie Sloan’s Provence on both the table and the chairs and doesn’t that fabric match it perfectly. How is that for a gentle step toward fall?

This fine fellow prefers the mantel and there are ravens everywhere!
Someone must have left the cage door open
or forgot to fasten it securely!
And now they are on the loose !
From the buffet
to the built in china cupboard
they have taken over the shop!
We are so very happy that they aren’t noisy or messy!
