Three weeks ago, hubby and I took a quick trip to Southern Oregon and we found this in Roseburg! Loved that it was solid wood and that the trim details were pretty much intact. All the knobs – lovely!!!
Cleaned her up, repaired a break and hubby started painting when I took a break:
Yep, our workshop-lol!
After two coats of Annie Sloan’s Florence and some dark wax, voila!
In all her beauty!
Florence still makes my heart sing!
The cedar chest is new in the shop today and blends so well with the other pieces. Know what? The square table and bed are ASCP Duck Egg and the nightstand and cedar chest are CCC’s Smoky Mountain. Really – can you see a difference?!
P.S. Miss Sophia did the upholstery on the bed-pretty terrific addition to it we think!
include a few different items:
A gorgeous French style desk in a custom CeCe Caldwell color – SOLD
CeCe’s Young Kansas Wheat on the base looks terrific with the dark stained top! SOLD
Annie Sloan’s Aubusson Blue makes this plain-jane desk very interesting!
Miss Trixie has outdone herself with tables lately and here is the latest:
A bit of Paris Grey, some black glaze and waxed to perfection!
Love the new fabric on the seats and the chair back details!
The set includes three side chairs and one arm chair – love the curves!!!

First, Miss Mustard Seed’s Lucketts Green is on this table base and chairs. Great color for Spring! The natural top coordinates nicely with the chippy milk paint.
Sweet little drop leaf table and 4 chairs
Next up, Cece Caldwell’s Vintage White on the chairs and table base which has been dark stained for lots of drama. Love the new fabric on the chairs too.
Lovely oval table and pretty cane back chairs – SOLD
So lovely for a touch of Spring color in your home!

goes a loooong way on an old oak dresser! Updates the sad, dried out wood wonderfully and breathes new life into the piece. Add some glass knobs and handles and a new key for locking away treasures and you are set! Dresser, sideboard, flat tv stand?
(I know, we NEED to take BEFORE pictures; sorry, we get so excited and forget!)

Brand new today in the shop are these three different but lovely pieces-enjoy!
Miss Sophia’s in Vintage White – SOLD
Miss Sophia’s in Emperor’s Silk ~ SOLD
Miss Sadie’s in a custom mix grey ~SOLD~
A note: Actually a testimonial I suppose. I LOVE CECE CALDWELL’S CLEAR WAX-used it on the dresser over a custom mixed CeCe grey and it went on so beautifully I couldn’t believe it! Way nicer than my long time favorite Annie Sloan Clear wax-sorry Annie – I still love you!
Provence chalk paint and dark wax
Miss Trixie found this not-so-gorgeous set and then made it gorgeous! Provence chalk paint and dark wax to accent its lines. Check out the fabric on the seats too!
We love our projects!

for more than 5 and 1/2 years in pieces, no less! (I took the auctioneer’s word for it that everything was in the pile!) I could never get all the pieces together in one spot and eventually they were buried in the middle of the garage surrounded by many larger things. Here she is today, assembled and painted in Florence chalk paint:
Turns out there was a piece of chain and one of the drawer runners missing. And my beloved hubby can rest at night knowing I will not be reminding him of this project again!
(And those cords have got to hide!)
