Love these quick little projects that Beach Glass makes absolute standouts!
This little display stand is a collaboration between hubby and me He added the pedestal and I finished it-perfect for a few cupcakes and more!

and it sits on a little tiny dresser or nightstand that I got a bit brave with – I usually stick with one color projects.
Three APC colors-Cameo, Beach Glass and Sackcloth
My favorite APC color to date and there are a bunch to choose from…
We are so in love with this color and our customers like it too! We see this color perhaps giving way to Peacock, also by American Paint Company. Both are lovely intense colors and make a statement in any room!
Miss Evie would have painted this Peacock but she didn’t have any at home so Beach Glass it was!
Antique dresser in APC’s Beach Glass
Four spacious drawers, the original hardware and wooden casters and that beautiful color lightly distressed and waxed!
Have a lovely weekend – we are all getting ready for the Farmhouse Show next week so think of us frantically getting everything ready and priced!
I took a few days off to visit the coast in honor of our 33rd Anniversary but the girls have been busy! Here’s a look at what they have done:
Miss Evie’s Projects:
Upright Lane Cedar chest in Smoke Signal
Corner desk and chair in APC’s Voyage
Desk in Limoges and Sackcloth – great combo!
Miss Sophia’s pretty little buffet:

and a secret:
The tray pulls out for service!
I had better get busy and make up for those relaxing, non-painting days!!
Love this-from dark, dingy and dull to absolutely fabulous!
APC’s Beach Glass desk
She’s on the sleeping porch in the shop at the moment-sorry for the awkward picture!!
Miss Sadie (that’s me!) has always loved Beach Glass so here is her latest upcycle using that lovely APC color:

and Miss Sophia did her magic on a vintage dresser in Smoke Signal and Navajo:
A sunny day on this 5 Drawer FP Dresser in Smoke Signal and Navajo
Such a lovely range of colors in American Paint Company’s line of chalk and mineral paint!
Here’s the second project I have done with it – I showed you the buffet/sideboard before. This was a sad little piece with chains, huge eye hooks, terrible finish but I knew it could be cuter and it is with Smoke Signal! So ugly I deliberately did not take a before picture…
It’s sunny today and this is the spot in the shop that is most glare-y for some reason-sorry.
APC’s Smoke SIgnal
On a separate note, sometimes you just have to change it up to make it more interesting. I just deleted the pictures of what this looked like before but it had a nice dark finish on a beautiful oak cabinet which you can see on the top. Decided to paint the base in Beach Glass and boy has the interest increased!
APC’s Beach Glass and the original finish on top
Now how long will it take to sell, I wonder?
We adore this vintage Dixie dresser and the fact that it has three double deep drawers at the bottom is just a bonus! Love the curves, love the hardware (original), LOVE the color!!
I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this color!
That epic shopping day hubby had is still turning up in t he shop so I’m sharing the latest pieces. Picture the garage filled with furniture and us trying to get to these smaller pieces on a regular basis!
We wallpapered the damaged areas and painted it out in classic black. Glass was added to the top level to protect the surface from spills, etc. ~SOLD~
Closeup of the pattern-I love this one!
Painted in Beach Glass and white to highlight the interior. Both were done this way.
A little staging helps too!
Don’t worry, I’ve been sending him out on other missions and there is more to come (and be done!). Have a lovely weekend, all!
A while back I showed you all a bunch of before pictures after hubby went shopping and found a number of pieces – here is the first of the afters!
APC’s Beach Glass sanded back to the white below. We added 10 glass knobs for some bling!
Just to remind you of the before:
More to come as we finish up some of the projects!
Picked up a stack of 6 of these filthy little things recently, gave them a good bath and then decided to paint them with chalk paint. The dark one is ASCP in Graphite, the blue is American Paint Co.’s Beach Glass and the white is a homemade version of chalk paint (not nearly so nice but it was available!). They turned out really pretty after a bit of wet distressing and waxing. Sold VERY quickly too!
Graphite, Unknown White and Beach Glass
And here are the last of the six:
Graphite, Unknown White and Paris Grey
I put a picture of these on Facebook and they SOLD within minutes-thank you, Miss C!
