Taking this opportunity to thank all of you once again for your kind interest in what we do!
May this New Year find you fulfilling your dreams!
Everyone has been busy painting as well as making preparations for the holidays. Here are the newest things in the shop:
Miss Sophia’s pieces::
Miss Evie’s Pieces:
Miss Sadie’s pieces:
The first piece has sold but the second is new in the shop. Before both are gone we wanted to share them with you! As much as we adore painting furniture, we also appreciate its natural state when very little refurbishing has to be done.
Miss Evie’s chippy library table:
Miss Sophia’s oval drop leaf table:
Have a wonderful weekend-our ice and snow is gone and for that we are very grateful!
Since a number of things have left recently, we’ve had to get busy with some new things – such a problem to have – lol!!
Miss Sadie’s contributions:
The two piece set is done in Lamp Black and the buffet is done in a custom white chalk paint with a dark stained top – distressed for added charm! .
A gorgeous piece newly painted in Lincoln’s Hat which accents the lines and original hardware beautifully we think! Clear wax finishes the process and gives the color depth and a satin feel.
We love our American Paint Company chalk, clay and mineral paint as you well know if you have been following this blog for long -lol!!
One of our blessing (see that story here) pieces, Miss Sophia took it home and invested lots of work and lots of love in it! She was trying to match (and did a darn fine job of doing it!) Coco with APC’s colors. Vintage Wallpaper lines the back of the display or book shelves .
Miss Sophia and I chose the fabric for this set and are thrilled that Rushmore is such a lovely unexpected match! The large table has been dark stained and the base and chairs are painted and dark waxed. Check out the chunky legs and the new fabric on the seats too!
The chairs are old ones, manufactured by Northwest Chair out of Tacoma, WA. They cleaned up nicely, love the details!
Available in the shop for $495
