I find myself drawn to unusual frames lately and these are most beautiful! Due to the unseasonable sun, I am having glare issues taking pictures so please bear with me. (And please don’t think I would ever hate sunshine in November!)

Taking them apart to clean the filthy glass, I discovered they are each actually a frame within a shadow box. The metal embossing is beautiful and aside from some minor damage to the glass, in wonderful vintage shape. The back is covered in green velvet and there is an easel and two hanging rings to assist in display.
The pictures themselves are most fascinating. They appear to be copies that are printed on sheets of white glass. Lots of detail – be sure to zoom in to see it! The ladies are lovely and probably from the early 20th Century.
