We were expecting to have a lovely, sunny Memorial Day weekend but our forecast has changed dramatically and rain is expected.  After last week’s very hot temperatures, this is not the happy medium for which i was hoping.

Here’s a bright corner in the shop that is cheery in spite of the cloudy exterior.

We love chandeliers and this is one of the most beautiful to gaze at across the rooms-enjoy!

Seems to have been a long time since I posted!   The days have flown by and here it is May and almost Mother’s Day.  Our best wishes to all Mothers – mothers by birth or mothers by heart.  We love all of you and wish you each a happy day filled  with love.

Our long narrow “patio” is finally in some semblance of order.  When the plants are added it will be more colorful but at present we hope you all find it interesting and perhaps somewhat inspirational when it comes to your own outdoor haven.

We didn’t have a particular theme – hard to define with eight participants.   Here are a few pictures to browse and more items will be coming in frequently!
